Let’s walk together, without always knowing where the road ends, without needing to know every turn that awaits us ahead.
All I need to know is one thing:
I want your hand in mine.
In every step. In every turn. In every beginning. Even on those roads we have never been on before.
Let the world rush past us, let the seasons change, let the colors of the sky change, let life take us to places we never imagined.
I don’t need a perfect destination.
I don’t need a life without difficulties, without bad days, without moments when we don’t know what to do.
I only need to have you by my side.
Because every road looks more beautiful when we walk it together.
I want to be beside you when we laugh about little things, when we talk for hours and forget how quickly time passes.
I want to be there even when we are silent, when we have nothing to say and simply walk beside each other, knowing that our presence is enough.
I want to hold your hand not only when the road is easy, but especially when it becomes difficult.
If one day you get tired, don’t worry.
Slow down your steps.
I will slow down with you.
If you no longer have the strength to walk, I will stay beside you until you find it again.
And if one day the road becomes dark, I don’t want to tell you:
“Keep going.”
I want to tell you:
“Don’t be afraid. I’m here. We’ll get through it together.”
Because to me, love isn’t about walking forward alone when everything is going well.
Love is not letting go of someone’s hand when the road becomes difficult.
It is choosing to stay even when life isn’t perfect.
It is watching each other change over the years and still saying:
“I choose you.”
I want us to grow old while still holding each other’s hands.
To have memories to tell, roads we have traveled, places where we laughed, nights we spent talking, and moments that only we will understand.
And one day, when we look back and see the whole road we have traveled, I don’t want to remember only the destinations.
I want to remember your hand in mine.
Our steps.
The hugs in the middle of the road.
The laughter without a reason.
The silences that never felt heavy.
The days when we held each other tightly and didn’t allow difficulties to tear us apart.
Because in the end, it doesn’t matter so much where the road takes us.
What matters is who we walk it with.
And if you ask me what my favorite road in life is, I won’t show you a city, a place, or a destination.
I will take your hand, look into your eyes, and tell you:
“Every road where you are. Every turn where we are together. Every step we take side by side. That is my road.”
Because I don’t want a life that simply takes me somewhere.
I want a life that I walk through with you.
And as long as your hand is in mine, no road, no turn, and no distance scares me.
Because my favorite destination is not a place.
It’s you.
